Jiahe Oy was established in 2016. We built our first store in Hakeniemi, in the center of Helsinki. The journey began with the idea of bringing authentic Asian food back to Asian people, and creating a channel for Asian restaurants in Finland to purchase good ingredients. To achieve this mission, we are keen to provide good quality, good service and a wide variety of Asian products to our customers
In 2018, we expanded our business and opened our second store in Turku. Thanks to our friendly service and a wide selection we had become one of the most popular Asian supermarkets in Finland.
In 2020, due to Covid-19, customers had difficulties visiting our store. We saw the need for home delivery and acted quickly by opening our webshop. This way we could provide a convenient and safe shopping environment to our customers.
A wide variety of high-quality products is our strength and value. We have provided over 4000 kinds of items to customers. Our selection covers Chinese, Thailand, Vietnamese, Korean, Japanese and even Turkish products. To keep up with our variety of products, we opened our first feature shop – Jiahe Japanese and Korean shop, JK shop, in 2021. It supplies Japanese and Korean ingredients to local restaurants. Moreover, we placed orders from the products’ origin, which provided a high quality of goods for our customers.
Recently we moved to a bigger warehouse, expanded our delivery team and frontline members to cope with the fast-growing business. We promise to carry on with our mission and widen our strength, to provide high-quality, good service and competitive price products to our customers.
