Founded in 2016, Jiahe Oy began its journey in Hakaniemi, at the heart of Helsinki, with a clear mission: to bring authentic Asian food to the Asian community in Finland and to create a reliable channel for Asian restaurants to source high-quality ingredients. From the very start, our commitment has been to deliver excellent quality, friendly service, and a wide variety of Asian products to our customers.
In 2018, our passion and dedication led us to open our second store in Turku. Thanks to our wide selection and welcoming atmosphere, we quickly became one of Finland’s most popular Asian supermarkets.
When the Covid-19 pandemic hit in 2020, we adapted swiftly to meet our customers’ needs by launching our online shop. This ensured a safe, convenient, and reliable way for customers to access their favorite products from the comfort of their homes.
Today, our shelves and warehouse hold over 4,000 products from countries including China, Thailand, Vietnam, Korea, Japan, and even Turkey. In 2021, we expanded further with the launch of Jiahe Japanese and Korean Shop (JK Shop) – a specialty store supplying premium Japanese and Korean ingredients to local restaurants. By sourcing directly from the products’ countries of origin, we ensure that every item we offer meets the highest quality standards.
With our recent move to a larger warehouse, along with an expanded delivery and frontline team, we are ready to meet the demands of our fast-growing customer base. Our promise remains unchanged – to provide top-quality products, excellent service, and competitive prices while continuing to grow and strengthen our offerings.
